EBISU: Vin Vino cozy little cash bar... 500 yen Happy Hour til 8pm.

Just a quick stop by this little bar thats been around for years... the owner is rather quirky and in the past I've spotted enjoying a few drinks.  Beer glass is rather tiny so I probably recommend the wine.

They can make lots of different drinks.

Standing counter area and a few seats here and there.

Nice to see an old skool TV.

Randomly went to What The Dickens British pub after the vine bar and the singer this night was amazing... you don't normally see this level here.  I'm a fan of LORIS now!

TOSHIMAEN: The Giant Step hamburger restaurant... caramelized onions yum!

Brand new burger joint in my town!  Of course I had to check it out.

Now the system.  Select a burger of your choice (prices vary with toppings), then select one of 3 styles (broccoli topping, lettuce or no veggies at all) and finally if you want order a drink & fries for an additional 390yen (or 590 with Heartland beer)..

Small selection of craft beers... Brew Dog IPA!

I went for the chili cheese burger!  The beef patty almost reminded me of a great burger spot in Nerima Viva La Burger due to the mix of beef chunks and ground beef.

What I most liked was the sweet caramelized onions... I'm a huge fan of that and Hungry Heaven in Meguro almost has it but not as flavorful as here.

Country music on the BGM... made me feel a bit homesick.

My suggestion! Just go for the basic hamburger 790yen or the cheese burger 890yen and skip out on the drink and fries (fries were rather average)... The meat patty here is rather good.  Overall the staff was super friendly (even the cook said goodbye with a smile) and the interior is so nice with wood walls on one side and white painted concrete walls on the other.  If in Toshimaen you gotta go!

AOYAMA ICHOME: Hamaou Minato-Tei for a great great 980 yen Steak lunch... super tender!

Former colleague invited me out for lunch and we hit up his regular spot.

Marked with a red circle "Dai Ninki!" (Super popular)...the 980yen domestic beef Rib Roast Steak.
The hamburger steak also seems to be a hit.

There are several booth type seats and a one big shared table that seats about 8 people.

The steak was sooooooo super super tender... just loved it.

You get raddish with ponzu sauce to dip the steak into.

Just loved the service... I will be back!

If you love Honda's and Asimo don't forget to visit the HQ Showroom nearby!

YOYOGI: Yoshi Soba for a bowl of tempura squid bowl... Porsche 911 50th Anniversary Edition spotting!

The reason I decided to stop by this fast food spot was because I saw a beautiful Porsche 911 50th anniversary edition across the street....

English menu's on the walls but the ordering push button machine I used was all in Japanese.

The tempura squid was not very good... instead of crispy on the outside it was very mushy like it had been made a while ago.

And so for the first time ever I spot a 911-50.

Interesting placement of the 3rd break light.
